Mobile, mobile, mobile! It’s the hot buzzword in the nonprofit tech space this year, and for a good reason.
We’re spending more time than ever on our devices, and it’s a prime medium for your organization to connect with new supporters, donors, and advocates. Whether it’s through text to give, SMS action alerts, or a community related app, there are a variety of ways to take the big mobile plunge.
Monday, December 15th, is the first annual #MobileMonday - a new campaign to give nonprofits a chance to come together around this new technology, share best practices and learnings, and learn from successful mobile campaigns this year.
To kick things off, MGive and the Nature Conservancy are teaming up for a Twitter chat at 1pm ET to discuss all things related to using mobile for social good, including the Nature Conservancy’s many forays into mobile. To join in, all you have to do is use the hashtag #mobilemonday on Twitter.
Whether you’re at an organization looking for inspiration for mobile campaigns or just an individual looking to give back through your mobile device, you should follow along to discuss how we can leverage mobile technology for social good and to learn about some amazing campaigns run by the Nature Conservancy, the Red Cross, Conservation International, and the Humane Society.
Sign up here for the chat in advance, and then we’ll see you on Twitter at 1pm ET on Monday, December 15!
